Holistic, Trauma-Informed Counseling

Therapy can be an opportunity to slow down, become more aware of what is happening within you, and explore the patterns that shape how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

I offer holistic, trauma-informed counseling for adults and older adolescents, with the understanding that meaningful healing involves the whole person. My approach considers emotional, physical, relational, cultural, and spiritual dimensions of your experience while honoring your individual history and pace.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey. Rather than positioning myself as someone who has all the answers, I see myself as a fellow traveler alongside you. My role is to offer curiosity, perspective, therapeutic knowledge, and a grounded, non-judgmental space where you can explore what is happening in your life and discover your own capacity for change.

Areas I Can Support:

I work with clients who may be experiencing:

  • Trauma and difficult life experiences

  • Anxiety, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Life transitions and periods of uncertainty

  • Relationship challenges and interpersonal patterns

  • Questions of identity, meaning, and purpose

  • Desire for greater self-awareness and personal growth

  • Integration of transformative or psychedelic experiences

  • Difficulty understanding or changing recurring patterns

  • A desire to feel more connected to oneself, others, and life

My Therapeutic Approach:

I draw from several therapeutic perspectives and tailor our work to your individual needs. My approach may incorporate:

EMDR
As an EMDR-trained clinician, I can incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing when appropriate to help process distressing experiences and reduce the emotional impact of unresolved trauma.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness can help cultivate a greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, and patterns without immediately reacting to them. We may use mindfulness practices to develop greater presence, self-compassion, and choice.

Transpersonal Psychology
Transpersonal approaches explore experiences of meaning, purpose, connection, consciousness, and personal transformation, while honoring the individual’s unique worldview.

Archetypal Exploration
Exploring archetypal themes can offer another way of understanding recurring patterns, relationships, life transitions, and the different parts of ourselves that emerge throughout our lives.

CBT & DBT
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy offer practical tools for understanding thoughts and behaviors, regulating emotions, navigating relationships, and developing more effective ways of responding to life's challenges.

Psychedelic Integration
With more than 10 years of experience in psychedelic integration, I support clients in exploring and making meaning from psychedelic or other transformative experiences and thoughtfully incorporating insights into everyday life.

A Collaborative Process:

There is no single path to healing, and therapy does not have to look the same for everyone. We will work together to understand what you are experiencing and identify what may be most helpful for you.

Some sessions may involve open-ended conversation and deeper exploration, while others may include mindfulness practices, EMDR, therapeutic exercises, or practical tools to use between sessions. My intention is to create a space where you can be curious about yourself, explore difficult experiences without judgment, and move toward greater awareness, resilience, and connection.

You don't have to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. We can start with where you are.
